Keypad PIN code authentication for HP LaserJet printers

Users can now authenticate on HP LaserJet printers using a simple PIN code entered on the SecureJet Auth-PXT heavy-duty keypad. When combined with the SecureJet Print-SMP (Secure Mobile Printing) module, SecureJet Auth-PXT allows users to instantly release their pending print jobs stored on the printer hard drive or on SecureJet Print-PS print servers.

Card-Free System

  • Users simply use the SecureJet external keypad to enter a PIN code to release their print jobs.

Automatic PIN Code Generation

  • SecureJet can extract user lists from LDAP and Active Directory databases, generate random PIN codes, and e-mail them to end-users.

Simple Foolproof User Identification

  • Authenticate without typing long logins and passwords (with an alternate authentication method as a backup).
  • Choose the user validation method adapted to your needs:
    • Validation through a local ID list loaded on devices
    • Validation through an Authentication Gateway (SecureJet Print-PS feature)
    • Validation through LDAP/AD

Billback Capability

  • Simplify billing by using SecureJet’s billback functionality. All print jobs can be charged to a client or project using the billing codes created and managed by the SecureJet software.

Secure & Mobile Printing

  • Add encryption to the controlled release capabilites by combining SecureJet Enterprise Auth-PXT with SecureJet Enterprise Secure Mobile Printing.
