SecureJet Enterprise Tracking

Embedded job tracking with database, web, and e-mail reporting

The SecureJet Track-TRP module allows you to record and monitor HP LaserJet printer and MFP activity directly on the device, enhancing accountability and giving you the ability to assign costs, forecast expenses, and target waste and abuse.

By collecting data directly on the printer or MFP, SecureJet Track-TRP gives you a precise accounting of all walkup and printing functions.

Precise Print Job Tracking

Every time the printer finishes copying, emailing, faxing, or scanning a document, SecureJet Track-TRP collects important data about the job and records it to either the printer's hard disk or to compact flash memory. Because this "in printer" solution does not rely on SNMP traps or MIB polling, it offers improved accuracy and reliability over other tracking and data collection systems.

User Action Tracking on MFPs

For walkup activities users may authenticate on MFPs using any built-in authentication method such as Active Directory, Kerberos, LDAP, or any
SecureJet Auth module (i.e. PIN code, proximity badge, swipe card, or smart card authentication).

Simplified Reporting

The collected data is accessed and analyzed using the MTR, a server-based web application. It uses both text and graphics to illustrate the precise amount that your organization is spending on printing and where and when this money is being spend, thanks to 216 detailed, customized reports.

Forecast Consumable Needs

MTR offers a "one-button" option that creates and schedules comprehensive summary reports to identify the top printer users, forecast future consumable requirements, and analyze monthly usage by media and document type.

Detailed Cost Information

Track the actual cost of media as it is being used. Track costs by user or department. MTR can even be used to track hardware depreciation, toner
usage, and more. For companies wishing to charge printer expenses back to clients or departmental cost centers, MTR also offers a fixed cost mode. This mode allows administrators to assign a predetermined cost to each type of print job based on printer and media.
